What should I expect during the scan?
You rest your chin and remain still while the system captures images. Your provider then walks through the results with you.
Should I arrive without makeup?
A clean, bare face helps the review. If you arrive with makeup, we can cleanse your skin before the scan.
What kinds of light does Opera use?
The system uses normal, polarized and UV imaging. Tell your provider about light sensitivity or any concerns before the scan so they can advise you.
How often will we repeat it?
Your team chooses points in your care plan for repeat imaging and comparison. The timing depends on your treatment plan.
Does a scan decide which treatment I need?
Your provider combines the images with an in-person assessment, your goals and your history. The images support that conversation; your care remains individualized.
