Wellness & Weight loss
Medical Weight Loss with Structure, Support, and Real Results
At Velvet Couture Medspa, we believe weight loss should feel supportive, personalized, and sustainable — not restrictive, overwhelming, or one-size-fits-all. Our medically guided programs are designed to help you feel stronger, healthier, more confident, and more in control of your wellness journey while supporting long-term results, metabolism, and muscle preservation along the way. Each treatment plan is thoughtfully customized by a medically supervised board-certified nurse practitioner and may include prescription medication management, InBody body composition tracking, personalized nutrition support, supplement recommendations, and ongoing follow-up care.
Our 3-month transformation programs also include personalized nutrition counseling through our collaboration with Simple Spoon Nutrition Counseling, giving patients additional support to build healthier habits that last far beyond the scale.

InBody 270 Body Composition Analysis
Our InBody 270 scan helps monitor fat loss, muscle preservation, hydration, and overall body composition throughout your weight loss journey on GLP-1 medications.
“The owner Natilia is truly an expert in the field of weight loss and is well educated as it is evident in the medication regimen that she prescribes. She initially met with me several times over the phone but encouraged me to meet with her in person. Not only did she give me the confidence I needed to start my weight loss program, but she also restored my faith to continue with life's journey!”

Medications Used in Our Weight Loss Programs
Semaglutide
How Does Semaglutide Work?
Semaglutide is a non-stimulant, medical weight loss injection that mimics your body’s natural GLP-1 hormone. It works by:
Slowing how quickly your stomach empties
Making you feel full longer after eating
Helping reduce cravings and appetite
Supporting blood sugar balance
Why Patients Love It:
Feel full longer
Lose weight gradually
Support your overall health
When Will I See Results?
Some patients notice decreased appetite and smaller portion sizes in the first few weeks. However, the most noticeable weight loss typically starts around 8–12 weeks, especially as the dose is gradually increased.
How Long Can I Take It?
Semaglutide is FDA-approved for chronic weight management and is safe for long-term use. You can remain on it as long as you are seeing results, tolerating it well, and working toward your health goals.
Who Qualifies:
BMI ≥ 30
BMI 27–29.9 with a weight-related condition (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes, PCOS)
Common Side Effects:
Mild symptoms like nausea, constipation, or bloating may occur early on but typically improve over time. Eating slowly, avoiding greasy foods, and drinking water can help manage side effects.
⚠️ Not recommended for patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN2 syndrome.
Tirzepatide
How Does Tirzepatide Work?
Tirzepatide is a dual-action injectable medication that mimics both GLP-1 and GIP hormones. This offers enhanced appetite control and stronger metabolic effects. It works by:
Suppressing hunger
Slowing digestion
Improving insulin response
Boosting fat loss more aggressively
Why Patients Love It:
Faster, more dramatic weight loss
Great for those with more weight to lose
May improve blood sugar, energy, and confidence
When Will I See Results?
Appetite changes often begin within the first 1–2 weeks. Most patients begin to see weight loss by week 4–6, with significant results around the 8–12 week mark.
How Long Can I Take It?
Tirzepatide is also approved for long-term weight management. As long as it’s well-tolerated and effective for you, it can safely be continued under your provider’s care.
Who Qualifies:
Same BMI criteria as Semaglutide. Tirzepatide is especially helpful for individuals who need more support or didn’t respond as well to other treatments.
Common Side Effects:
Mild nausea, burping, or fatigue can occur, especially in the beginning. These symptoms often decrease over time as your body adjusts to the medication.
⚠️ Not for individuals with a personal/family history of thyroid cancer or certain endocrine conditions.
