These medicines can cause side effects and are not suitable for everyone. FDA-approved versions carry important contraindications, including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. If a compounded medication is prescribed, it is not FDA-approved. Velvet says prescriptions are fulfilled by licensed U.S. partner pharmacies. Will I need labs?
A baseline evaluation is required. Comprehensive labs from the past six months may be accepted after provider review. If new baseline testing is required, the panel is $225.
Can I receive care virtually?
We offer telemedicine for residents of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Arizona, plus in-person care in Houston. Confirm current availability and suitability when booking.
How does the consultation credit work?
The $50 consultation fee is due at booking and may be credited toward a weight loss program if you proceed after the visit. Ask the team to confirm how it applies.
What if I need care after three months?
Your provider reviews progress, response, dose, and goals. Continued monthly care or a customized maintenance plan may be discussed when appropriate. Results and timelines vary.
What is the refund policy?
Velvet states that programs are non-refundable once medication has been dispensed and lab fees are non-refundable. Confirm all terms before purchase.
